| | Welcome to Silverlight! |
Years ago, a single wolf chanced upon what at first glance was a simple tangle of terrain, a seemingly impassible and untamable landscape. As the lone wolf moved further into the lands, he was overcome by a strange feeling, as if he were being followed. He would pause now and then, looking over his shoulder only to see the terrain he had just crossed. Finally he made it to a large meadow, filled with flowers and thick grass. By the time he had reached it, darkness had fallen and the moon had risen high into the dark sky above him.
His eyes scanned the meadow, soon falling onto a tiny form that was curled up in the center. He approached it slowly, stopping a few feet away. He was surprised and confused by the sight of a small silver pup curled up in the center of the meadow. As he got closer, the little form stirred and lifted its head. The little wolf pup's eyes were all white, seeming to bore right through the shaken wolf as the small form rose to its feet, floating slightly above the ground. The pup did not speak, but looked directly at the wolf, seeming to communicate directly with his mind. /Welcome to Silverlight/ heard the wolf, his ears twitching slightly, although it was his mind that was receiving the message. /You have come upon these lands not by chance, but on purpose. It is now up to you to care for Silverlight, to protect it and to honor it. These lands depend on the spirits to flourish, but they are in need of inhabitants. This is your purpose here. Build a pack on these lands. Teach them to respect and honor the spirits and the land and you will prosper. I will visit you again soon./ he heard. Then, with a flash of light, the pup was gone.
Over the next few years the wolf struggled to fulfill the spirit's wish, and the land slowly began to fail. The meadow lost the feeling of awe and wonder, the lake lost the glistening beauty of the sunset. Silverlight was dying. It needed the spirits to survive, but they had abandoned the lands, for they needed a pack, they needed wolves to survive.
Eventually, other wolves trickled in to the land, forming a disjointed pack. For months, the wolves remained wary of each other and too independent to form a functioning pack. Silverlight continued to fail…until the day the wolves’ hearts changed. The land they loved was dying, and they were not in the position to revitalize it. Thus, the pack banded together, learned to love each other. None of them had realized that this was all it took to make a difference.
In the meadow once more, Blitzen, the alpha of the Silverlight pack, turned around slowly, spotting a pup sitting in the grass in front of him. He smiled, bowing slowly in respect to the spirit as he barely controlled his excitement.
/You have done well, Blitzen, and you have brought your pack together. The spirits are finally returning to Silverlight. You must continue to work together as a pack in order to bring the lands back to their former glory. Do your job well, Silverlight depends on you and your pack for survival./
Moments later, the pup vanished, leaving Blitz in awe, reveling in the realization: The spirits were returning! Silverlight was coming back to life!
Welcome to Silverlight! Come join the family!

 | This is where the pack's deceased members are buried. This is a place of remembrance and honor, therefore respect is a requirement when visiting the area. The graveyard is taken care of by the pack as a whole, loved ones that have been lost are very important to the pack, and are always remembered in this place. Wolves may come to visit, but the graveyard is meant for remembrance, not fooling around.

| 1 | 6 | Wed May 02, 2012 4:06 pm Buck | | The banished plains is where the Silverlight alpha sends all of the wolves that have been banished from the pack lands. It is unlikely that the alpha will banish wolves for small reasons, therefore many of the wolves that reside here are dangerous and often unpredictable. The plains are barren and seemingly lifeless, that is, other than the wolves that have been chased from Silverlight. This is a dangerous place, members of the pack are forbidden to enter these lands unless accompanied by a high ranking member, and lone wolves are warned not to enter as well.

| 2 | 84 | Thu May 17, 2012 5:15 pm Buck | | The Northern Ridge lies at the northern-most border of the Silverlight Packlands, and is where the alpha or high ranking pack members come to accept wolves into the Silverlight pack. The ridge, although it is the most common acceptance site, is very dangerous, and only the most agile and careful wolves enter here. One false step wolves slide right down and meet their end at the base of the ridge. Be careful when entering here, for the climb is dangerous, and the greeting you receive if approaching unannounced is more-so.

| 1 | 24 | Sat Apr 28, 2012 5:19 pm Buck | | The Southern Rapids lie at the southern-most border of Silverlight lands. These rapids are powerful and dangerous, and only the most insane and daring wolves enter into packlands from here. The current is deadly, the rocks even more dangerous. It is said that drowning is the worst death for a wolf, for their spirit shall never settle, but be carried along by the river to never rest. Beware when entering Silverlight through the rapids, you may meet your end here, before you even reach safe ground.

| 1 | 16 | Today at 11:16 am roar | | The eastern forest lies to the east of Silverlight, marking the border with thick trees and dense brush. It is difficult to get through all of the tangles and roots, but once you enter pack lands, there is no turning back. The return trip is even more difficult than the entry. Very few wolves enter the lands this way, for on the other side of the trees, outside of pack territory, lies the Banished plains, a barren landscape where all of the wolves that were banished from Silverlight are sent.

| 2 | 20 | Wed May 16, 2012 6:20 pm Stixs | | The Western Mountains lie to the west of Silverlight, a nearly impassible entry into the pack lands. It is extremely rare for a wolf to enter the lands from this border, because the mountain is nearly impassible, especially in the winter. It is foolish to believe that it is possible to leave the pack by the west, for all the wolves that have tried have ceased within the mountain's merciless grip. Not to mention that cougars and lynx make their homes on the dangerous slope.

 | The pack dens lie in the center of Silverlight, in the most protected area of the lands. The dens are scattered throughout a lightly wooded area, with the storage den and pupsitter's den in the center. The omega's and pack members' dens are located at the outermost points of the area, where the higher ranking members have their dens located towards the center of the woods. The dens are simple structures, either dug into small mounds or built with rocks and sticks or in simple caves and caverns. The area is simple, but it suits the pack and protects them well enough.

| 9 | 397 | Thu May 17, 2012 2:48 pm Buck | | The sinking swamp is probably the most dangerous location within all of Silverlight. If it is possible to get passed all of the tangled thorns and branches, the sinking sand and thick mud with definitely pose a threat to any visitor. There are small islands, however, that make travel through the swamp possible, but foolish. Within the murky, muddy waters of the sinking swamp lie any number of threatening beasts that could easily devour a full grown wolf in one bite. No one really knows what truely lies within the swamp, but many tell stories of wolves that have lost their lives when trying to brave the dangerous terrain.

| 1 | 8 | Wed May 16, 2012 9:37 am Tenke | | The sunset lake is located between the center of the packlands and the Southern Rapids to the south. The lake is large and wide, making it difficult to travel around it quickly, as well as making the center deep and dangerous. The bank is lined with soft dirt and sand and a few rocks, making it a rather peaceful and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the sunset with your significant other, or to just calm down and take a nap. The lake is filled with fish and some cattails and weeds here and there, making it beautiful as well as peaceful and calm. Come relax, take a break, get away for a while, enjoy yourself.

| 2 | 61 | Fri May 11, 2012 10:50 pm Buck | | The Moonlight meadow lies just east of the pack dens, just before you reach the Eastern Forest. The meadow is wide and long, covered in soft, thick grass and littered with beautiful flowers. When night falls, the meadow seems to glow with moonlight, making it a rather mysterious and romantic place to be. Not to meantion is is breathtakingly beautiful. Many wolves come here to marvel at the beauty, while others come here to gather their thoughts or maybe even catch a glimps of the Silverlight spirits, who seem to enjoy the Moonlight Meadow the most out of all of Silverlight, especially at the late hours of the night.

| 2 | 58 | Tue May 15, 2012 10:30 pm roar | | The hot springs are located just west of the pack dens, almost at the base of the mountains. Here hot spring water bubbles up from unseen aquifers below the surface, creating pools of water for the wolves to enjoy. Many come here to relax and soothe their aching muscles, and some come here to simply enjoy the warmth during the winter. Over all it is a rather nice place to spend the day, since it is safe thanks to the mountain that protects the western border.

| 3 | 123 | Tue May 15, 2012 10:18 pm Buck | | Back before Silverlight existed, there was a large glacier residing in the lands. As time went by, this glacier retreated, sculpting the landscape into it's current form and leaving incredible landmarks and features along the way. One of these features is called a hanging valley, where water falls off a cliff-like edge and falls to connect with the river below, which in turn travels to the lake. This is located near the Northern Ridge, close to the pack borders but far enough inside the lands to be safe and secure. It is beautiful, but be warned, it is no place for pups or play. It can be dangerous, so all wolves that travel here are warned to watch for other predators that may call it home, as well as the dangers of the waterfall within it.

| 1 | 9 | Sat May 12, 2012 1:13 am Buck | | The Mystic Waterfall is located in the center of the Hanging Valley. The water falls over the cliff and falls down to a pool at the base, swirling and pounding loudly as gravity does its work. The waterfall is loud and powerful, and wolves are warned to be cautious when venturing this way, especially with young ones with them. It is definitely a sight to see, not to mention that the erosion from the water has created several caves, some even partially submerged by water near the pool, hidden in the cliff itself.

These have been eroded by the water and have grown substantially over many many years, and even connect to make a mass labyrinth of caves and tunnels. No matter how 'cool' these caves might appear, though, wolves are encouraged to avoid them. It is easy to get lost inside, and most don't know that a large majority of the caves are still at least partially submerged in water.
